Can I walk the course instead of running?
Absolutely. The 5K Bier Run is open to walkers, joggers, and runners of all fitness levels. There is no minimum pace requirement.
Are costumes required?
Costumes are encouraged but not required. Lederhosen, dirndls, and Bavarian attire are especially popular — and there are prizes for the best costume.
Is the course stroller or wheelchair accessible?
The course runs through Bicentennial Capitol Mall, which is largely flat and paved. Contact the festival directly for specific accessibility questions.
